FAQ

Custom soccer socks questions, answered.

Everything buyers ask before they order — minimums, timings, artwork and print options.

What is the minimum order?

Our minimum order is just 12 pairs, with bulk tiers as quantities grow. Grip soles, split systems, goalkeeper padding and youth runs all carry the same minimum.

How fast will my soccer socks arrive?

Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and socks ship in about 2 weeks. Grip-printed soles and multi-size length runs can add a few days, and we confirm a real ship date in writing before you commit.

Why do our socks stop holding the shin guards?

The knit stopped recovering. Elastane loses its return with repeated hot washing and tumble drying, so the tube keeps its size but not its grip — a sock that fitted in September and sits around the ankle in November did not shrink. Elastane content, band depth and recovery after washing are the three numbers that decide it, and we quote all three.

Should the leg be cushioned too?

No. Cushioning under a shin guard is bulk that lifts the guard off the leg and lets it rock. The foot wants cushioning exactly where the boot loads it — forefoot and heel — and the leg wants an even tube with nothing in it. Cheap socks knit the same structure top to bottom and get both halves wrong at once.

Our players cut the feet off their socks. Can you help?

Yes, by making the sock they are trying to build. Either a grip-soled team sock, so the foot stops sliding inside the boot and nobody needs scissors, or a proper two-part system: a team-colour leg sleeve with a finished hem plus a matching grip footie. Both keep full guard coverage in one colour, which is what officials actually check.

Can I use cotton socks?

You can, and we would rather you did not. Cotton holds sweat against the foot inside a boot for the whole match and dries slowly afterwards. Nylon and polyester with elastane move moisture and recover their shape, which is why every serious football sock is knitted from them.

How should these be washed?

Warm rather than hot, inside out, and no fabric softener — softener is what kills both elastane recovery and silicone grip. Tumble drying on high is the fastest way to turn a good sock into a loose one. All of that goes on the care label, because socks are usually ruined in the laundry rather than on the pitch.

Are these compression or protective socks?

Neither. We make no graduated compression claim and quote no mmHg — that is a measured medical-style product and a different specialism. And a sock is not protective equipment: shin guards protect the leg, and the sock’s job is to hold one flat. We also sell no guards, boots, shirts or shorts, and nothing here is a studio, barre or pilates grip sock.
