Two proper fixes

A grip-soled team sock: silicone under the forefoot and heel, one sock, nothing cut.

Or a made two-part system: team-colour leg sleeve with a finished hem, matching footie.

What to check on the grip

Coverage where the boot loads the foot, not a solid slab across the whole sole.

And a care label that says no fabric softener, which is what kills silicone.
